Thank you for writing for me! This is my first time doing Yuletide and I'm terrified, but excited! Please forgive any newbie mistakes. I’m The_Kings_Scribe on AO3.
Likes: I like gen, het and slash, any rating, though I prefer my shipfic to be more fluffy or plotty than porny (but I like porn too!). I like found families, rivalry that becomes friendship, friendly bickering, time travel, temporal paradoxes, AIs, friends being supportive, slow-burn romance, and characters earning their happy ending.
Dislikes: robot-on-human sex, robot-on-robot sex, furry sex, underage sex, child abuse, rape, Mpreg, A/B/O, bestiality, watersports, scat, guro, necrophilia, cheating, humiliation, genderswap, fics with the characters' sexual preferences or gender as the entirety of the premise (especially "What if character X was trans*?" and the like), fics that take the characters out of the canon setting or change the canon's genre or tone (examples: In Space! In Renaissance Italy! In a coffee shop! Serial killers!), zombies in canons that don't feature zombies (same goes for more generic apocalypse scenarios), death of canon characters.
So, here are the fandoms and characters I requested:
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - John Henry
The gone-too-soon show about time travel, robots, time travelling robots out to kill you, time travelling robots who have been reprogrammed by Future You to protect you and your mom, and time travelling robots who are maybe possibly willing to work with you. Oh, and there’s an apocalypse at some point. I was thrilled to see the show is still (barely) eligible for Yuletide!
I’d like anything John Henry-centric. Bonus if it’s from his point of view. What makes this AI tick?
I can’t get over the fact that John Henry was basically born from a chess computer. Does his knowledge of the Game of Kings ever come in handy? Maybe you could have him play with someone - Ellison (again), John Connor (current or future), Skynet... Or he could teach Savannah to play!
It would be great to know what John Henry is planning to do in the Future. I don’t think he wants to be friends with Skynet, but what is his agenda? I’m pretty sure it’s compatible with humanity’s continued survival, but how does he convince the resistance of this? Is what John Henry wants the same thing as what Weaver wants? Can the epic team-up of John Connor and John Henry take down Skynet? What does the world look like post-Skynet? I’d like to see older, wiser John Henry meet his old friends again. He could discuss philosophy and changing beliefs with Ellison! He could meet grown-up Savannah and be BFFs with her again!
The first time John Henry leaves the basement... and it's to go to a post-apocalyptic nightmare future where almost everyone is out to get him, with no friends, no backup, no maintenance team, no access to the Internet... Even if he was expecting all that, I imagine the reality would be quite an adjustment! How did he take it all in stride?
If a post-series setting intimidates you, I’d love to see something set during season two. Why did the presumed proto-Skynet attack Zeira Corps in general and John Henry in particular?
For something light-hearted, I love his friendship with Savannah. Skynet is so rude because it interrupted just when they were about to play with Bionicles and ducklings! I love that the thing that proved John Henry’s sentience is that he told a joke. Where does he get his sense of humor from? When they gave John Henry access to the Internet, did they remember parental controls, or were they reminded after a misadventure? There’s also the beauty that is the Beast Wizard VII movie. Do Future Resistance people keep recognizing John Henry because he looks like the lead of this ‘cult classic’? Does he use the main character as a template for his barbarian when playing D&D with Murch? Can he ever live down something he didn't even act in himself? (Look at the photo in the Terminator wiki’s article for George Laszlo. Garret Dillahunt had to pose for that. While wearing that. What a trooper!)
Sonic the Hedgehog: The Animated Series - Sonic, Sally
~He’s the fastest thing alive!~ Wow, this is such a nostalgia fandom for me. A kid’s show where the bad guy starts out already in power, with the good guys fighting a guerilla battle with little hope of success, the nightmare-inducing roboticision process… This show was my introduction to some much-beloved time travel tropes too.
I’d like something centered around Sonic and Sally that expands on the world of Mobius.
We know Uncle Chuck created the power rings, and they were always meant for Sonic… But whatever were they originally for? What was their intended purpose? How do they work?
When, how and why was Knothole built? It already existed at the time of Robotnik's coup! Was it meant to be a refuge for important citizens/civilians in case the war went badly? If that's the case, how come the War Minister of all people doesn't know its location?
Why was Sonic living with his uncle? What happened to his parents? How did his first meeting with Sally go?
It would be fascinating to get a glimpse into the creation of the Resistance. How did they go from scared kids running for their lives, to an effective fighting force? How did they survive in the forest in the early days? (Especially since, in the original timeline, their one adult caretaker, Rosie, was captured and taken away early on.) What were their first missions?
Alternatively, how do they rebuild things post-series? The planet’s ecology is wrecked, and Mobotropolis is filled with roboticized citizens traumatized from having been mind-raped for years. Can these people be helped? Can Sally be the ruler of a kingdom, as opposed to the leader of a band of freedom fighters? Can Sonic still be her effective right-hand man? Is being the princess’ consort an adjustment?
Do you have a pet theory about the identity of red-eyed cliffhanger dude? Do share!

I know, I’m a heretic for preferring this show to Captain Tsubasa. What can I say? It’s shorter, faster paced, less physics-defying, the games feel exciting, the characters are archetypes but I like them and their interpersonal drama.
Co-productions, localisations and dubs, oh my: I watched the French version; that’s what I’m familiar with, and ideally I’d like the fic to be written based on it. I know there are differences from the Japanese version (names and nationalities, mostly), but since the show is nominally a co-production (even if the collaboration went sour), I consider the French and Japanese versions to be equally ‘true’ and ‘real’ (though heaven knows the French version is flawed and doesn't make sense in places). But if you want to include nods to the Japanese version, by, say, making Benjamin half Japanese on his mother’s side, I won’t object. As for the biggest plot difference, episodes 50-52 (the bribery scandal), I don’t have strong feelings about it; you are free to make references to this plot, or to pretend the show ended at episode 49.
The hero, the hero’s (eventual) friendly rival, and the hero’s girlfriend who is also the rival’s sister: I’d like to read something about them when they’re older. They’re my OT3, both platonic and… not. (During his captaincy at Team Genova, Benjamin spends almost as much time wishing Eric were there as he does pining after Catherine; as for Eric and Catherine, go rewatch their scenes in the Swiss Alps and try to see how long you can keep your mind out of the gutter. OT3, I tell you!)
I’d like to read about their future careers. Jupiter Wings is a Junior’s club, so what comes after? Can the boys sort out their problems with their respective federations? What clubs do they play in? Are Benjamin and Eric playing together, or in rival clubs? Will Catherine ever become a prima ballerina? Do they manage to work in the same city, or even the same country? Or do they live their lives most of the year, and spend all their vacations in a little love nest in the Alps?
I’d like to know how the long-distance relationship works out. It would be nice to see Benjamin and Eric be supportive of Catherine’s career and along the way kinda getting sucked into being ballet fans! It’s only fair since she got sucked into being a football fan!
Benjamin doesn’t talk much about his parents and has even less to say about their deaths. It would be nice to see him open up to his friends about it. They could meet his aunt! He could meet their elusive parents! After all, he’s dating oneboth of the siblings, they’re all practically family now!
The scandal at the end of the series: is everything resolved? Is there an even bigger scandal because people noticed some goals were identical :-)? Are the characters caught in some sort of weird time loop :-)?
Or, you know, you could answer the age-old question: Who would win, Jupiter Wings or Nankatsu?
