Likes: I like gen, het and slash, any rating. No POV preferences. I like found families, time travel, temporal paradoxes, AIs, competence kink, loyalty kink, history, hurt/comfort, and humour. And lots more things, but for the life of me I can’t name any more, sorry I know that’s not very helpful…
Dislikes: robot-on-human sex, underage sex, child abuse, rape, Mpreg, Alpha/Beta/Omega, bestiality, watersports, scat, guro, necrophilia, humiliation, genderswap, fics with the characters' sexual preferences or gender as the entirety of the premise, anvilicious issuefic, fics that take the characters out of the canon setting or change the canon's genre or tone (examples: In Space! In Renaissance Italy! In a coffee shop! Serial killers!), zombies in canons that don't feature zombies (same goes for more generic apocalypse scenarios), death of canon characters who didn't die in the original.
So, here are the fandoms and characters I requested:
Terminator: Genisys - Pops | Guardian
The latest movie in the timey-wimey franchise, that turns the timeline into a time-bowl-of-spaghetti, and we love it for it. Paradoxes ahoy!
Give me fic about everyone's favorite terrifying Murder!Grandpa!
A trope I adore is machines forced by circumstance to do things far outside the scope of their original programming. Because made for infiltration or not, reprogrammed by humans or not, there is NO WAY the caring and feeding of small children is anywhere in the T-800’s skillset. What amusing, hair-raising, embarrassing or touching anecdotes does Sarah have to tell about her childhood? (My one burning question: what’s the story behind those Polaroid pictures of little Sarah???)
After Sarah and Kyle vanish in a puff of plot in the eighties, he’s on his own until 2017. That’s… a rather long time. We do know of his one job in construction (to be a fly on the wall during *that* job interview…), but what else did he do to fill his days? It would also be nice to see him catch up with Sarah afterwards and fill her in on all the major developments she needs to know about, and maybe also things that aren’t relevant to the mission but are important to her (“and the manufacturer of your favorite brand of X went out of business in 1997…”)
The movie coyly refuses to reveal who sent him back in time to protect Sarah. Maybe that will be covered in a sequel, but in the meanwhile, we can speculate! (Obviously this optional detail is VERY optional, but my pet theory is that he came from the Sarah Connor Chronicles post-finale future: sometime after Born To Run, the Weaver faction found out about Skynet’s plot to kill young Sarah and contacted the resistance, who decided to send back their own agent - John Connor chose *this* model for sentimental reasons.)
Against my expectations, he survived the movie in one piece – even got one hell of an upgrade. Adapting to the liquid metal, to an Apocalypse-free future (or is it?), making piece with Kyle, generally being the grizzled old grandpa of their weird little family as they ride off into the sunset…
Hornblower - C. S. Forester - William Bush, Horatio Hornblower
The Age of Sail, when men had hearts of oak and wore those delightful uniforms (and hats!).
I love any kind of slashy goodness for these two, but during- and post-Flying Colours is my favorite era.
-I love all the usual tropes: the shore leaves spent together in debauchery, the awkward visits at Sheerness, the Hotspur domesticity, the hurt/comfort in France (carriage ride! cruise on the Loire!). Pick your fave and go wild!
-Captain Bush. Celebrating the promotion with Hornblower. Captain Bush in uniform. Captain Bush being slowly peeled out of his uniform. Captain Bush seeing the Nonsuch for the first time and exploring every inch of it. I just love Captain Bush, okay?
-I like Lady Barbara and the threesome fic posted last year was so unbelievably hot, but I’d be interested in an AU where she and Horatio just don’t work out. And if this somehow leads to Hornblower and Bush raising little Richard Arthur together, I would die of squee. I have no idea how that scenario could be made plausible, but I trust your imagination!
-*sigh**sob*Caudebec*oh the tragedy*. But you know what, the TV verse fans have their LKUs, why couldn’t we have our own death fixits?

Does this video really need introduction? It’s beautiful, kitschy crack.
"Meta" or "Episode novelizations", go wild!
-The canon: what was a typical episode like? How well did it compare to other cartoons of the era? Did the final episode resolve the plot, or was it completely unremarkable, or was the show cancelled on a cliffhanger? What was the team’s dynamic? How did they meet? How did they decide to fight crime together? What do the characters who aren’t Ozy and Silk Spectre do for a living? Were there any recurring villains? What was the worst Broken Aesop the show ever pulled? The crackiest premise? The one episode even the comic’s fans grudgingly agree isn’t too bad?
-The fandom: what is the fannish trajectory of a typical fan of Watchmen SatAM? Is there any overlap with fans of the comic, or are the two fandoms locked in a bitter war? Are there rival kinkmemes/fic exchanges? What are the popular ships? What is the main topic of wank? Are most SatAM fans even aware of the existence of the comic? Is there a civil war between the fans of Comedian/Laurie who take the relationship at face value and those who know about the comic (“Ew, you got incest in my wholesome daddykink!”/”Get your wholesomeness out of my fucked up incest ship!”)?
-The production: What were they thinking?! No really, who decided to adapt this property into a Saturday morning cartoon, and who signed off on it, and why weren’t they stopped? And what about the poor writers, forced to do something for kids from this source material. I bet those production meetings were epic!
