Thank you for writing for me! I’m The_Kings_Scribe on AO3.
Likes: I like gen, het and slash, any rating. No POV preferences. I like found families, time travel, temporal paradoxes, AIs, competence kink, loyalty kink, history, hurt/comfort, and humour. And lots more things, but for the life of me I can’t name any more, sorry I know that’s not very helpful…
Dislikes: robot-on-human sex, underage sex, child abuse, rape, Mpreg, Alpha/Beta/Omega, bestiality, watersports, scat, guro, necrophilia, humiliation, genderswap, fics with the characters' sexual preferences or gender as the entirety of the premise, anvilicious issuefic, fics that take the characters out of the canon setting or change the canon's genre or tone (examples: In Space! In Renaissance Italy! In a coffee shop! Serial killers!), zombies in canons that don't feature zombies (same goes for more generic apocalypse scenarios), death of canon characters who didn't die in the original.
So, here are the fandoms and characters I requested:
Terminator Genisys: Pops
The latest movie in the timey-wimey franchise, that turns the timeline into a time-bowl-of-spaghetti, and we love it for it. Paradoxes ahoy!
Give me fic about everyone's favorite terrifying Murder!Grandpa!
A trope I adore is machines forced by circumstance to do things far outside the scope of their original programming. Because made for infiltration or not, reprogrammed by humans or not, there is NO WAY the caring and feeding of small children is anywhere in the T-800’s skillset. What amusing, hair-raising, embarrassing or touching anecdotes does Sarah have to tell about her childhood? (My one burning question: what’s the story behind those Polaroid pictures of little Sarah???)
After Sarah and Kyle vanish in a puff of plot in the eighties, he’s on his own until 2017. That’s… a rather long time. We do know of his one job in construction (to be a fly on the wall during *that* job interview…), but what else did he do to fill his days? It would also be nice to see him catch up with Sarah afterwards and fill her in on all the major developments she needs to know about, and maybe also things that aren’t relevant to the mission but are important to her (“and the manufacturer of your favorite brand of X went out of business in 1997…”)
The movie coyly refuses to reveal who sent him back in time to protect Sarah. Maybe that will be covered in a sequel, but in the meanwhile, we can speculate! (Obviously this optional detail is VERY optional, but my pet theory is that he came from the Sarah Connor Chronicles post-finale future: sometime after Born To Run, the Weaver faction found out about Skynet’s plot to kill young Sarah and contacted the resistance, who decided to send back their own agent - John Connor chose *this* model for sentimental reasons.)
Against my expectations, he survived the movie in one piece – even got one hell of an upgrade. Adapting to the liquid metal, to an Apocalypse-free future (or is it?), making piece with Kyle, generally being the grizzled old grandpa of their weird little family as they ride off into the sunset…
Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold: Captain ghem Estif, Captain ghem Estif’s Barrayaran lover
AKA the two gentlemen that died in the bombing of Vorkosigan Vashnoi (along with many others, of course), as we find out in Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance. Here’s the sum total of everything we know about them, in another post for length A tale of star-crossed lovers tantalizing in its shortness, eh?
-How did they meet? How did they fall in love? What did they see in each other? How did they get past the mountain of baggage they both had to be carrying?
-Who was this Barrayaran? Prole or Vor? Resistance, civilian or collaborator? How un/closeted?
-And our Cetagandan Captain: How did he take being assigned to Barrayar? Had he been there (perhaps visiting his father) before? What did he think of the occupation? Of the locals? Did his opinions shift, and if yes how?
-Who is the nameless friend the ghem Estifs had the tale from? What made him a trustworthy confidante?
-The fiery end: was it all an unfortunate coincidence that they scheduled a tryst at the wrong time and place? Or did the captain know? How did he find out? What was he planning to do about it? Take his lover and run, evacuate as many people as possible, stop the bombing somehow? Were the lovers reunited before the end?
-And the most fanciful question of all: was Vorkosigan Vashnoi really the end for them, or did they take the opportunity to fake their deaths and start a new life elsewhere, away from it all?
燃えろ!トップストライカー| L'école des Champions: Benjamin, Eric, Catherine
I know, I’m a heretic for preferring this show to Captain Tsubasa. What can I say? It’s shorter, faster paced, less physics-defying, the games feel exciting, the characters are archetypes but I like them and their interpersonal drama.
Co-productions, localisations and dubs, oh my: I watched the French version; that’s what I’m familiar with, and ideally I’d like the fic to be written based on it. I know there are differences from the Japanese version (names and nationalities, mostly), but since the show is nominally a co-production (even if the collaboration went sour), I consider the French and Japanese versions to be equally ‘true’ and ‘real’ (though heaven knows the French version is flawed and doesn't make sense in places). But if you want to include nods to the Japanese version, by, say, making Benjamin half Japanese on his mother’s side, I won’t object. As for the biggest plot difference, episodes 50-52 (the bribery scandal), I don’t have strong feelings about it; you are free to make references to this plot, or to pretend the show ended at episode 49.
The hero, the hero’s (eventual) friendly rival, and the hero’s girlfriend who is also the rival’s sister: I’d like to read something about them when they’re older. They’re my OT3, both platonic and… not. (During his captaincy at Team Genova, Benjamin spends almost as much time wishing Eric were there as he does pining after Catherine; as for Eric and Catherine, go rewatch their scenes in the Swiss Alps and try to see how long you can keep your mind out of the gutter. OT3, I tell you!)
I’d like to read about their future careers. Jupiter Wings is a Junior’s club, so what comes after? Can the boys sort out their problems with their respective federations? What clubs do they play in? Are Benjamin and Eric playing together, or in rival clubs? Will Catherine ever become a prima ballerina? Do they manage to work in the same city, or even the same country? Or do they live their lives most of the year, and spend all their vacations in a little love nest in the Alps?
I’d like to know how the long-distance relationship works out. It would be nice to see Benjamin and Eric be supportive of Catherine’s career and along the way kinda getting sucked into being ballet fans! It’s only fair since she got sucked into being a football fan!
Benjamin doesn’t talk much about his parents and has even less to say about their deaths. It would be nice to see him open up to his friends about it. They could meet his aunt! He could meet their elusive parents! After all, he’s dating one both of the siblings, they’re all practically family now!
The scandal at the end of the series: is everything resolved? Is there an even bigger scandal because people noticed some goals were identical :-)? Are the characters caught in some sort of weird time loop :-)?
Or, you know, you could answer the age-old question: Who would win, Jupiter Wings or Nankatsu?
